Microblading
Microblading
Microblading is a manual process that involves using a fine blade to create hair-like strokes in the skin to enhance the appearance of eyebrows. The technique, which has a long history dating back thousands of years, involves etching lines into the skin using a microblade that follow the natural direction of the eyebrows. The result is a natural, soft look with the pigment placed in the upper layer of the skin. This treatment is ideal for those who want a subtle, natural-looking enhancement to their eyebrows.

MICROBLADING: £300
The price for the microblading procedure includes the initial treatment, aftercare ointment and support as well as a touch-up appointment 4-6 weeks after the initial treatment.
TOP-UP: £160
It is recommended to schedule a touch-up appointment 6-18 months after your initial microblading treatment to maintain the appearance of your eyebrows. This appointment will refresh the colour and ensure that your brows are defined and looking their best for another 6-18 months. Please note that the pigment used in microblading is semi-permanent and will fade over time. If it has been more than 18 months since your last treatment, a full touch-up appointment may be required and will be charged at the full price as the pigment is likely to have faded significantly.
Aftercare
Healing process after the Microblading procedure is not always pleasant; therefore a lot of patience is needed to finally see the healed result. True reflection of the healed colour can only be assessed around 3-4 weeks after the treatment, this is when the skin tissues have healed and recovered. Your eyebrows will be in the lightest tones during days 5-10, because the colour is absorbed in deeper layers of the skin. Later skin cells push it back to the upper layers.
I. Do not wet your eyebrows for 10-14 days.
II. Following the procedure wipe your brows every hour (for two days) with cool, boiled (sterile) water.
III. On day 3 after the procedure apply a thin layer of ointment (approx. half a rice grain for each eyebrow) twice a day, morning and evening.
The following must be avoided for the next 14 days post procedure:
• Increased sweating activities
• Sports / Gym
• Swimming
• Hot sauna, hot bath or Jacuzzi
• Sun tanning or salon tanning
• Picking, peeling or scratching of the micropigmented area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment
• Performing tasks related to heavy household cleaning such as garage or basement cleaning where there is a lot of airborne debris
• No laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic Acid on the face or neck for 30 days
•No Botox during healing process
The following can also be a factor to consider which can increase sweating or affect the skin:
• Spicy foods
• Smoking
• Drinking alcohol in excess as it may lead to slow healing of wounds
• Driving in open air vehicles such as convertibles, boats, bicycles or motorcycles
Your new semi-permanent eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle:
The pigment will appear very sharp and dark immediately after the procedure. This is because the pigment is still sitting on top of your skin and has not yet settled in completely. The colour of the pigment will soften gradually. Once the healing of the skin starts taking place it may look like dandruff flakes or dry skin and may become itchy. This might give you the impression that the colour pigment is fading too quickly, however this is just superficial colour and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows. Once completely healed, always apply a layer of SPF 50 sunscreen on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun. Sun exposure might cause the colour pigment to fade away more quickly.
